If you have a garden, you’ll know how wonderful it feels to fling open the doors and step onto the grass on a warm summer’s day. The occupants of this particular property knew just that, which is why they chose a modern glass-to-floor conservatory, so they could admire their green space from within the home.
For added visibility, a custom made glass roofing system was fitted to flood the space with light even on the darkest of days, while stunning French doors provide a wide opening into their much loved garden.
For this couple, the conservatory had to be a multi-purpose space. From dinner parties to relaxing and even working, the space had to fit the bill for every member of the family. That’s why we designed the conservatory to be fully usable night and day, with cleverly concealed spotlights tucked away from sight. Each bulb fitted was of the highest energy efficiency, so that when one does go, it won’t break the bank to replace it.
You’d be forgiven for thinking this particular all-glass style would overheat in the height of summer. The good news is that the team at County only ever fit the highest specification thermally treated glass, to keep the space cool in summer and cosy come winter.
Our friendly team will be pleased to help with any questions you may have.
