The Morleys are delighted with the extra spaciousness they now have, not to mention the additional sunlight their glass roof orangery has welcomed into their much-loved family home.
It wasn’t long after they moved into their semi-detached, three-bedroom home that the Morley family found out a baby was on the way. They were reluctant to move house so soon after moving, especially as they loved the house and area they were in. It was decided that extending their property was the best solution for everyone. After doing some initial research, they knew they wanted a conservatory-style extension to connect their home with their new outdoor area.
After they had researched companies online, they visited their local showroom to see the different structures showcased alongside each other. After browsing the full variety of our conservatory designs, they spoke to an advisor about what they were looking for. The Morleys had always wanted an open-plan kitchen diner and they thought it was the perfect time to achieve this. They imagined they would be able to finally have the space they wanted to cook meals and entertain their new baby boy at the same time. When we questioned them about important design features, the couple wanted to ensure there would be plenty of natural light.
We sat them down and used our 3D design software to create a digital impression of their glass roof orangery so that they could visualise how it would look, prior to signing it off. Once everything was agreed, we then took care of the relevant Building Regulations requirements, allowing the family to focus on other things. Just six weeks later, their new orangery had been built and they could begin making the space their own.
We were excited to show them our advanced 3D design software so they could see a digital impression of their glass roof orangery. Sure enough, they were impressed with how real it looked. The Morleys were able to visualise the internal and external views of their new orangery and it helped us to make sure everything looked perfect before starting the process. When the design was finalised, we took care of the necessary Building Regulation requirements and the family counted down the days until the project was complete. It took just six weeks from start to finish!
Since the installation was finished, the Morleys have welcomed many guests into their home to see their brand-new orangery. They have all been impressed with the quality of the installation and many have remarked how it feels like a real extension. The orangery also stays cool throughout the year due to the use of our intelligent solar control glazing. Moreover, the sliding patio doors were a great addition to the living space, as now they can watch their son happily play in the garden while they relax inside.
