SURVEYING
A County-appointed surveyor will visit your home to take measurements and record all the information needed to get your project off the ground. If planning permission is required, they’ll also gather all the documentation needed for the relevant application.
PLANNING & BUILDING REGS
If needed, the surveyor will submit the application to your local council.
The time it takes for councils to process applications vary. However, as a rule of thumb, you should allow anywhere up to 10 weeks for Full Householder Planning Permission and around 6-8 weeks for NCS approval.
SCHEDULE OF WORKS
When work is ready to commence, County will assign a schedule of works and building team(s). We’ll take care of everything and oversee all points of contact to ensure that your project runs smoothly.
If needed, we’ll also discuss with you power, water and access requirements.
BUILDING & INSTALLATION
Your building team will talk through potential brick matches before any work is done. Once the building work is completed, your frames and/or roof will be fitted.
We’ll manage all the various tradespeople involved in your project from start to finish so you can relax in the knowledge the full journey is mapped out for you in advance.
FINISHING
Once finished, we’ll work with you to finalise any snagging and make sure that you’re completely happy with your new living space
