Trust. It’s one of those words that gets bandied about a lot but people rarely stop and question what it actually means. At County – The Home Improvers we’ve built a whole business over more than thirty years because our customers trust us to deliver what we say we’re going to deliver.

It’s as simple – and as challenging – as that. Simply do what you say you are going to do. As a result our customers keep coming back. That’s good for our business, and it’s great for our customers; they get the peace of mind that comes from knowing they’re getting excellent products at a fair price.

The way we achieve consistent deliverability is simple too: we train all our staff. About the importance of honesty and openness. The importance of having excellent product knowledge. The importance of empathising with our customers’ needs and requirements. We don’t use sales tricks or fast-talking patter; we don’t have to.

We’re proud to state quite clearly what our prices are right at the beginning of our discussions with customers. We don’t hide behind prices miraculously sliced in half by “my manager”. We occasionally offer discounts as our manufacturers offer them to us and our quotations are always spelled out in black and white, in writing. Occasionally a customer will tell us they’ve been quoted a lower price elsewhere; we take the time to go through that quote with them and usually find that in reality our prices are lower on a like-for-like basis. That’s what led us to create the unique County Price Promise: if any customer is quoted a lower price for the same product specification we’ll refund double the difference.

Do you trust us to deliver a significant enhancement to your home? Be it windows or doors; a conservatory or orangery, probably the best way is to meet us at one of our showrooms and get a feel for how we work with our customers. Obviously we’ll be polite and respectful but please do challenge us to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. After all we want you to be happy with your purchase and become one of our customers who comes back for more.
